About the artist
My interest in art started very early on as my father was an excellent artist but never had the opportunity to pursue his talent.
I have been a professional artist for the last 3 years and work with acrylic paints on canvas.
I approach each new canvas with the enthusiasm to make it perfect. I paint by layering the colours until I get the depth of colour and texture I require, which usually takes several hours of applying and testing paint colours, consistency and brush strokes. I never rush a painting and put a lot of hard workand concentration into each piece of work until I am fully satisfied with the result.
I take commissions of any subject and paint from photographs e-mailed to me in advance. They need to be clear, high resolution images so I receive as much detail as possible, particularly for portraits. I endeavour to keep all customers up to date with work in progress.
